Frequently asked.
In most cases yes, provided the existing coating is sound, clean and well adhered. Loose, flaking or powdery surfaces need to be removed and primed first. Send us photos of the surface and we'll advise on preparation.
Yes — every formulation in both the Thermal and Paint groups is water based and low VOC, produced under an ISO 9001 certified management system.
For thermal systems, yes — Alya Primer–T prepares and stabilises the substrate so the insulation layer bonds correctly. For decorative paints, a primer is recommended on new, porous or previously untreated surfaces.
