ALYA ROOF is a modified silicone and elastomeric resin based. Used for Roofs waterproofing and thermal insulation, applied liquidly. Consists of natural vacuumed beads through applying special processes.

Alya ROOF - TWP (Waterproofing & Thermal Insulation)

PROPERTIES

It is water based material provides heat, water, sound insulation and fire resistant.

APPLICATION SURFACES

Can be applied safely and in guaranteed way for waterproofing and thermal insulation of terraces and roofs, whether surface is concrete, metal, or wood.

APPLICATION

• Ensure that the surfaces is clean and free of dirt, oil, loose and peeling paints and other foreign materials.

• All cracks, junctions, and roof leaking locations should be patched and necessary repairs or changes must be done on leaky roof.

• ALYA ROOF Insulation Coating application consists of a 4 layer application (1 layer of ALYA PRIMER, 2 layers of ALYA ROOF coating and 1 layer of ALYA PROTECT).

• Before the application ALYA ROOF, ALYA PRIMER should be applied with a brush or a roller on the surface that intended to be coated with ALYA ROOF.

• The coating application should be applied at least 2 hours after applying ALYA PRIMER layer ALYA ROOF thermal Insulation and waterproofing material shall be mixed homogeneously with a mixer or a mechanical mixer before coating application. However, the material is ready to use.

• Use satin roller for application.

• The roller must be dipped completely in the ALYA ROOF bucket and must be covered by the material completely, the excess material on the roller is spilled into the bucket by shaking.

• Apply on the surface slowly without pressing.

• Wait at least 12 hours before applying the second layer ALYA ROOF with the same technic used in the first layer.

• 24-18 hours after the second layer application, ALYA PROTECT varnish application can be applied to ensure the surface gain bright appearance and protection against all kinds of external factors.

WARNING: Do not walk on the surface for at least 48 hours after application.

1.2-1.3 kg/m² according to the type, absorbency and structure of the surface to be applied, controlled sample shall be performed for accurate consumption rate.

  • Touch drying : 2 hours
  • Over Coating : 6-12 hours
  • Full Drying : 24 hours
  • Note : (Drying time maybe extended at ahigher
    levelofrelative humidityand lowtemperature).

APPLICATION

• Apply with brush or a roller on the surfaces at least 6 hours after ALYA WALL and ALYA ROOF Coating application.

ALYA PRIMER-T (Universal Primer)

PROPERTIES

ALYA PRIMER should be used in the priming process prior to any of Alya Thermal Coating systems.

• High penetration and watertightness feature.  Prevents surface absorption.

• Enhance the integration of coated material with the  surface to be coated.

•Enhance the saving in material consumption.

APPLICATION SURFACES

Concrete, aerated concrete, plaster, grouting and other raw surfaces, whitewashed surfaces, emulsion based older internal and external painted surfaces.

APPLICATION

• Before application, make sure that the surface is completely dry and cleaned of any oil, dirt, dust or sanding particles from raised areas, poorly applied plaster or screed.

• Before application, any raised, poorly plastered or unready looking areas should be sanded and any oil or dirt should be washed off with water.

• If the surface is bleeding salt, be sure to eradicate the source of the problem before application.

• ALYA PRIMER must be mixed until homogenous before application.

• ALYA PRIMER can be applied by a brush or a roller to the surface without dilution.

• During the application, the surface temperature should be between +5 °C and +35 °C and must be protected from frost during ALYA PRIMER application and drying times.

• Coating material should be applied at least 3 hours after applying the ALYA PRIMER.

• It is not recommended to dilute ALYA PRIMER with water when it is used for insulation purposes, and not to use it on Glutolin paste or solvent based PRIMER and paint.
